VTC Sumi Slasher One Skinned Raw by Larry E. Yerkes is a free horror display font built from twisted, splintered letterforms. Its strokes shift abruptly between swollen curves and thin, scratchy joins, with thorn-like cuts and ragged protrusions recurring across the lettering. The result feels feral and hand-carved.

A horror poster is its most convincing setting, since the damaged shapes resemble tangled bone, roots, or torn metal rather than conventional type. The same aggressive texture can shape album covers, game graphics, and Halloween merchandise, especially for subjects involving monsters, dark fantasy, or underground music.
