Timberwolf Extra-expanded by Daniel Zadorozny of Iconian Fonts is a free condensed display sans serif with towering, near-solid capitals. Narrow gaps and abrupt triangular cuts interrupt the dense strokes. The silhouette is severe and mechanical.

Its industrial science-fiction character suits game covers and action-film posters. Merchandise can use the tall lettering to evoke armor plates, blades, or futuristic machinery. Those repeated notches make the type useful for metal album artwork, where the letterforms can become part of an emblem.
