StarStruct, designed by Anthony Dyer of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free star-built pixel font with rounded, open letterforms. Each stroke is assembled from tiny asterisk-like marks on a strict grid, so the lettering feels both mechanical and lightly decorative.
Space, arcade games, and early computer graphics are its most natural subjects, since the repeated star motif resembles both a low-resolution screen and a field of lights. It can turn a game title into part lettering, part constellation. Event posters and music merchandise also suit its digital sparkle, especially for audiences drawn to retro technology and playful science-fiction imagery.
