SEVENEIGHTwb by steric of FontStruct is a free barcode-style dingbat font built from tight rows of square modules. Solid and open blocks alternate in a rigid grid.

Digital graphics are its clearest setting, since the tiled construction resembles coded data, punched displays, and early computer patterns. It can form electronic textures for game interfaces, technology event posters, and experimental music packaging rather than behaving like ordinary lettering. The strongest audience is designers working with retro computing, digital surveillance, or data-driven themes who want type to become part of the interface itself.
