Second Base Line from Out of Step Font Company is a free retro-techno display font with extremely thin, monoline capitals. Its tall, spare forms combine squared arches and open corners with sharp diagonals, suggesting schematic lettering or streamlined architectural signage.

Its machine-age styling suits science-fiction posters and electronic music artwork, where the lettering can suggest circuitry without copying a digital screen. It also fits fashion branding and nightclub signage. In product identity, the unusually skeletal letterforms can become a recognizable linear motif across packaging.
