Scrambled Script by Tobias Sommer of FontShop International GmbH is a free blackletter font with a severe, cut-paper silhouette. Its tightly fitted letters combine broad vertical strokes with sharp notches, hooked feet, and abrupt angular turns. Uneven contours give the medieval forms a raw, hand-carved edge.

Merchandise gives this lettering a convincing home, especially on band shirts and patches tied to metal, punk, or dark fantasy imagery. It also suits game graphics and event posters, where the jagged construction can echo weapons, heraldry, or distressed illustration. For a brewery or streetwear label, the compact blackletter shapes can become the central emblem of the product identity.
