Rodixu font is designed by productype. It features a bold serif typeface that reimagines the high-contrast blueprint of the display polytype with functionality in mind. The two focal points of this design were developing a powerful interplay between solid triangular shapes and careful round counterforms that would allow this bold graphic to fit organically into long text settings, and emphasizing miniscule details like tapers and endings on some characters. This allowed us to develop original forms for letters whose geometry is often repetitive; however, this feature became prominent mainly in its italics where the letters are accompanied with flourished pelotti.

This font’s design focuses on all sorts of display use: posters, headlines, apparel design, album covers, social media content, or large-scale typography; as well as smaller format such as greeting cards or official documents such as wedding invitations.
