Pylon Wide by Arthur Reinders Folmer is a free decorative techno font whose letters resemble steel transmission towers. Each angular outline is crossed by a dense web of braces, turning the alphabet into a series of compact engineering diagrams. The uneven lattice gives the forms a wiry, hand-drawn edge.
It is especially convincing in music posters, album artwork, and event graphics, where the pylon motif can become part of the image rather than ordinary lettering. Science museums, engineering clubs, and experimental technology brands are the likeliest audience for its industrial structure, with merchandise offering another fitting home for these tower-like forms.
