ProtoSans53 by Roman Gornitsky is a free geometric techno sans serif built from broad, rectilinear strokes. Its letters look cut from a strict modular grid. Squared interiors, blunt joins, and abrupt right angles give the design the hard silhouette of an early digital display, though the forms retain recognizable proportions.

An electronic music poster is its strongest setting, with the block construction also fitting game graphics, club branding, and technology merchandise. In editorial design, the machine-cut shapes can turn a magazine masthead or section opener into part of a page grid, circuit diagram, or screen interface rather than remain a mere label.
