ProtoSans43 by Roman Gornitsky is a free geometric techno display font built from blunt, rectangular strokes and hard right angles. Its broad letterforms use compact square openings and sharply stepped joins, producing a dense, modular silhouette with the directness of early screen graphics.

The electronic arcade connection makes it especially convincing for game interfaces, event posters, and music packaging centered on synth, industrial, or digital themes. It also suits merchandise with a deliberately constructed look. In branding, the squared forms can turn a technology label or gaming product name into an emblem that feels assembled from blocks rather than drawn as ordinary lettering.
