Project X by David Kerkhoff is a free distorted, eroded display font with broad, forceful uppercase letters and an uneven, tightly packed industrial silhouette. Its dense, blunt strokes break into scratches, chips, and pale voids, with some forms shifting sharply between solid and skeletal construction.

Music posters are its clearest setting, especially for punk, metal, or abrasive electronic acts that want lettering to resemble a battered screen print. The damage looks rough and convincingly inconsistent. On album packaging, event graphics, and magazine covers, the distressed shapes can become part of the printed texture rather than sit apart as neutral type.
