Prelude FLF, designed by Richard A. Ware, is a free calligraphic script with the quick assurance of a practiced signature, an elegant forward-moving line, and open, unhurried curves. Broad loops, changing stroke widths, and long connections keep the writing lively.

Its signature style is especially apt for luxury fashion branding and fragrance packaging, where the fluid lettering suggests an individual hand without looking rustic or overly formal. The same poised manner also suits wedding invitations, editorial magazine mastheads, and album artwork, with the extended strokes able to echo ribbons, borders, or hand-drawn illustrations elsewhere in the design.
