Line Phone Font is a free decorative display font with sharp, wire-like connections and broad vertical strokes. The forms are tall and taut. Hooked ends, wedge tips, and sudden changes in stroke width give the lettering an unusual mechanical silhouette with hints of blackletter structure.

Its linked shapes suit game interfaces, electronic music posters, and speculative-fiction covers, where the lettering can resemble part of a circuit or unfamiliar machine. Line Phone Font is an English typeface also known as Song Stroke (Song-style stroke typeface). It is based on characteristics of the Chinese Da Song typeface and incorporates structural features of Chinese characters.

Each stroke in the letter designs is intended to approximate the characteristics of Chinese strokes as closely as possible, rather than simply deforming, rotating, or mirroring Chinese strokes. The designs of the letters b, p, d, and q reflect some of these ideas.
