Giraffenhals Extended by Manuel Viergutz is a free distorted display font with extremely tall, thin lettering and an intentionally unstable outline. Its strokes wobble, pinch, and break in places, as if drawn with an uneven technical pen. The narrow forms look restless rather than delicate.
Its offbeat, elongated shapes suit experimental music, surreal comedy, and eccentric fashion. Posters, album artwork, and clothing graphics can use that nervous line quality to suggest something awkward, wiry, and slightly unruly. In illustrated campaigns, the letters can double as spindly figures or improvised scenery, extending the drawing rather than serving only as a caption.
