Dragonfly Bold by paintblack is a free distorted display font with towering, tightly packed letters and an emphatic black weight. Abrupt tapers and sliced-looking joins disrupt the otherwise solid forms, giving the alphabet a compressed, slightly unruly silhouette.

Posters are its strongest medium, especially for experimental music, club events, and streetwear launches. It also suits album covers and merchandise. The dense lettering can function almost like a printed shape, making it useful for brands that want a raw, confrontational identity rather than conventional polished typography.
