DKP.I. الخط

DKP.I. by David Kerkhoff is a free distorted display font with the blunt proportions and slab serifs of battered typewriter lettering. Broken strokes and chipped contours resemble a rough, uneven stamp.

Poster design is its strongest setting, especially for underground music, horror events, or theatrical promotions with a damaged print aesthetic. The same distressed, mechanical texture also suits album packaging and game graphics, linking those applications through a convincing sense of wear.

This font was created from a pre-war typewriter. The version presented here is the basic donationware version.
