DK Fledermaus by David Kerkhoff is a free retro display font with the lanky elegance of early twentieth-century poster lettering. Its narrow capitals mix swelling curves with abrupt angles and uneven stroke widths. The result feels theatrical and slightly eccentric.

Cabarets, cocktail bars, and vintage fashion labels could use it to build a period-minded identity. It also suits music posters and book covers with a decadent or mysterious theme. The tall silhouettes can echo Art Deco architecture in border work and illustrations, turning the lettering into part of the scene.
