Bigelow Rules by Brian J. Bonislawsky of Astigmatic is a free comic display font with a lanky, theatrical silhouette. Its extremely tall letters mix hairline strokes with broad curves, and the uneven proportions make the alphabet look deliberately exaggerated. Small crossbars and sharp serifs sharpen the joke.

Designers working on offbeat entertainment and youth-oriented projects can draw on that wiry humor for posters, book covers, event graphics, and merchandise. The stretched forms are especially suited to spooky comedy, eccentric stage productions, and stories populated by oddball characters.
