Ashes To Ashes by David Kerkhoff is a free eroded display font with the look of roughly painted lettering worn down by scraping and weather. Broad, uneven strokes form blunt silhouettes, broken by ragged gaps and dry-brush streaks. The damage varies from letter to letter, so the texture feels handmade rather than applied as a uniform filter.

Its chipped surfaces can echo distressed photography, torn-paper collage, or smoky concert artwork, making the font useful for album packaging, horror posters, and underground magazine covers. On streetwear merchandise, the letters can become part of the printed texture itself, reading like a battered stencil or a mark pulled from an old wall.
