A horror poster is its clearest setting, since the scraped texture suggests frantic marks rather than polished lettering. That same raw quality suits punk merchandise, album artwork, and Halloween event graphics, especially when the lettering is treated as part of the image. In magazine design, it can turn a feature title about underground music, cult cinema, or street art into an expressive editorial element.
