Yeseva One by Jovanny Lemonad is a free high-contrast serif font with stately, sharply cut forms. Tall letters combine dark strokes with delicate, rounded details.

It is especially convincing for editorial mastheads, where its dramatic proportions lend fashion or cultural publishing a formal edge. The same sculpted shapes suit luxury packaging and event posters with a theatrical or historic theme. Its clearest audience is designers working in fashion, arts publishing, and upscale hospitality.

Yeseva is a serif display typeface. Its name derives from the phrase “Yes, Eva,” expressing complete agreement between a man and a woman.

The font was updated in September 2012. Version 2.0 is 5 percent narrower and includes many new characters and refinements to existing ones.
