XSpiked by Chris Vile of Designs by Chris is a free modern Gothic display font with a severe industrial edge. Tall, tightly packed letters taper into long blade-like points. A scraped texture cuts through the otherwise solid forms, giving the lettering a battered concert-poster finish.
Band posters are its clearest fit, especially for metal, hardcore, or industrial acts. The same shapes suit album covers and streetwear graphics. Its spikes and distressed surfaces tie those applications directly to underground music imagery.
