Van Doesburg, created by Sebastian Asegurado of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free geometric display font built from stark rectangular modules. Its letters reduce curves and diagonals to squared steps, bars, and carefully cut openings. The result recalls De Stijl typography and the severe geometry of early modernist experiments.
That De Stijl connection makes it apt for exhibition posters and architecture publishing. Album covers can use the block construction as a link to grids, abstract art, and electronic music. For galleries, design studios, or cultural events, the lettering can become a brand device rather than neutral text.
