Skencil by Michael Johnson of FontStruct is a free experimental stencil display font built from sharply contrasting stroke weights. The lettering jumps between broad, squared forms and very fine lines, with rounded cutouts interrupting the darker shapes. That uneven construction feels mechanical yet deliberately eccentric.

Geometric illustrations and repeating patterns can echo those circles and slots, making the font useful for technology posters, game graphics, and music packaging. In experimental branding and merchandise, its broken modules can become part of a logo system or product identity rather than serving as ordinary lettering.
