RT Screenloft 8 by Daniel Bretzmann of RightType is a free pixel display font built from compact rows of square tiles. Its letters have the clipped, mechanical shape of an early electronic readout, with narrow gaps breaking each stroke into a regular grid. The construction is crisp and deliberately spare.

A retro game studio or technology brand could use it for logos, packaging, and digital graphics that reference low-resolution screens. It also suits music artwork, especially electronic releases with arcade or computer themes. In game interfaces, the tiled letters can become part of the display itself, echoing scoreboards, status panels, and other on-screen indicators.
