QuinquennialHK is a free distressed brush script with broad, uneven capitals and a dry, speckled edge. Its blunt strokes bend and swell unpredictably, giving the lettering the look of hurried paint marks rather than carefully shaped signs.

Street culture and loud music are natural territory for this rough lettering, especially on gig posters, skate merchandise, and album artwork. The worn texture can also echo photocopied photographs and torn-paper collage, making the font part of the imagery rather than a neutral caption.
