PreCursive, credited to Matthew Napolitano and Full Time Artists, is a free school script with very tall, slim letters and a clean monoline stroke. Its simple curves and open construction resemble the careful forms used in early handwriting practice, but the lettering remains light and informal.
Classroom themes are its clearest setting. It fits handwriting worksheets, children's activity books, and educational posters because the shapes have the measured, traceable quality of beginner penmanship. Across these uses, the upright proportions connect instructional text with a friendly hand-lettered look and make the font especially suited to welcoming materials for early-grade new learners.
