KG Primary Italics Lined الخط

KG Primary Italics Lined by Kimberly Geswein is a free school handwriting font with a forward slant and built-in practice rules. Its tall, rounded letters combine simple classroom forms with the motion of flowing penmanship.

Classroom materials are its clearest setting, especially handwriting worksheets and early literacy activities. It also suits educational publishing and cheerful classroom posters, where the guide lines become part of the teaching graphic. It is designed to coordinate with KG Primary Penmanship in an italic, pre-cursive style.

In Primary Italics Lined, the spacebar inserts a blank space. To add a lined section, use the vertical bar (|) key. On my keyboard, it is below Backspace and shares a key with the backslash; its location may differ on other keyboards. This allows both lined and unlined spaces.
