Gandhi Sans Bold is a free bold sans serif designed by Cristobal Henestrosa and Raul Plancarte in collaboration with David Kimura and Gabriela Varela for Librerias Gandhi. Its broad capitals combine firm verticals with gently shaped curves for a sturdy, approachable silhouette. The compact lowercase forms have rounded shoulders, and the tall hooked f gives the design a recognizable detail.

Against flat illustration or geometric patterns, the dense lettering can function almost like another solid shape. This makes it useful for bookstore branding, cultural posters, editorial covers, and retail signage, where a title can become part of an emblem or storefront graphic rather than neutral text.
