Andika, designed by Victor Gaultney, Annie Olsen, Julie Remington, Don Collingsworth, and Eric Hays of SIL International, is a free humanist sans serif with generous proportions and softly modulated strokes. Its broad capitals and open lowercase forms look calm and approachable, with gently shaped curves that avoid a rigid geometric finish.

Educational publishers and literacy-focused organizations could use it for reading materials, classroom posters, digital lessons, and family-oriented branding. The clear, friendly letters suit editorial work aimed at younger or developing readers, and their understated construction lets illustrations and instructional graphics remain central to the page.
